An array of temperature probes will be used to monitor the ISU clean room's temperature and humidity, with one probe being a temperature and humidity probe.

ISU already possesses the [http://www.sensatronics.com/index.php/industrial-probes/temperaturehumidity.html Sensatronics's Temperature-Humidity Combo Probe] which will be used to monitor the temperature  and  humidity in the center of the room.
 
  
The thermometer's analog output is converted  to a digital signal using the [http://www.sensatronics.com/index.php/industrial-monitors/model-em1.html Sensatronics Model EM1 Environmental Monitor].  This device supports up to 12 monitoring probes and has a built-in web server to transmit its data over the network upon request.  This device will cost $438.90.

The total cost will be approximately $760.00 for temperature monitoring in the ISU clean room.  The temperature probes will allow for real time temperature monitoring with web access to the data.  This data will be plotted using the same system as the [http://brems.iac.isu.edu/mrtg/roomtemp.html BREMS cluster] located at ISU.

These are the entryway doors donated by ON semiconductor for the ISU clean room.  They will be fitted together to form an air shower device for entering the clean room.

The data show so far a +- 2 degree Fahrenheit temperature deviation in the clean room.  These fluctuations are within the accepted fluctuation deviation required for the construction of the R! drift chambers.

Construction Proceedures:

Chambers outside cleanroom should have covers to keep dust off buss wires

Cap 113 (Brown one) needs to be replaced on STB board.


Need 2 amp fuse on 5 Volt supply to pre-amps.

Chamber grounding (ground through HV cable)

Chamber operating procedures

1.) post amplifier in VME crate had 150 mV peak-peak noise

2.) Stop using the current ADB crate

3.) New nominal Voltages from Mac are

S:F:G = 1300:-650:

S/F = 2

S/G = 5/7

Signal output doubles every 75 Volts difference between sense and field


4.) Discriminator level for signals:
