Made lead brick tube 6/4/2021
- Tunnel will need to be torn down and rebuilt as the entire exterior will need to have a layer of BorAl surrounding it. Once optimal operating point for NaI detector has been found, source in/out measurements will be made to determine signal:noise in tunnel. Will repeat the same experiment with the addition of BorAl.
- Internal measurements of rectangular tube 103mm x 152mm
- Plan to model cradle for NaI detector to put crystal in the center of the tube. Crystal is 3in in diameter (yay units)
- Hope to 3D print cradle out of ABS plastic, possible to have one machined out of aluminum too
