Operating Voltage Study

We will lower the operating voltage and take scope pictures to determine the operating point for the mini chamber.

Preamplifier voltage was set to 5.9 Volts. We saw a lot of noise ) 40 mV peak to peak) when increasing the preamp voltage from 2.2 V to 5.7 Volts. After 5.7 volts the noise when back to its typical level of 10 mV peak to peak on the sense wire (capacitor side).

The output signals for 1700 Volts were consistently shaped like what is shown inthe scope image below. Whereas the output at 1800 Volts seems to have more noise when triggered at -100 mV.
