June 25,2007 Cf-252 measurements of total gamma-spectrum using HpGe ungated

Data

Paraffin wax layer of thickness 12.6 cm was used as a neutron attenuator and for cosmic rays lead of thickness 10 cm on sides of
HpGe detector. Total time of the run was ~9 hours. Total number of counts: 11,157,085. The source was Cf-252 (activity 60μCi)

1. Energy region 0-1000 keV

2. Energy region 1000-2000 keV

3. Energy region 2000-3000 keV

Fits to selected spectra

Lead-214 line

[math]\sigma=0.42+/-0.011[/math] keV
Max Energy shift=19.7 keV

Potassium-40 line

[math]\sigma=0.49+/-0.07[/math] keV
Max Energy shift caused by doppler effects should be 96.5 keV

Thantalum-128 line

[math]\sigma=0.98+/-0.04[/math] keV
Max Energy shift caused by doppler effects should be 172.81 keV
