Gamma attenuation in Pb from 252Cf

• We have 0.87 MeV gammas from SF of 252CF characteristics of the radiations from 252Cf.

Also there are some from [math]\alpha[/math] decay.

Taking the worst scenario:

[math]\mu = 0.07\ cm^2/g \times 11.35\ g/cm^3 = 0.80\ cm^{-1}[/math]

• [math]I = I_0\ \exp{(-\mu x)}[/math]
