Midterm Format
2 word problems worth 25 point each and 10 Multiple Choice problems worth 5 points each
Word problems are graded with 10 points awarded for the identification of physics principle being used, 10 points for the application of that principle, and 5 points for the correct answer.
An Equation sheet is given on the exam and includes
- cartesian, polar, and spherical coordinate systems with position, velocity , and acceleration vectors
- List of identities (trigonometric, integrals,…)
- Table with the Moments of Inertia
