- Build poly box to house source and help thermalize neutron flux
- Get Cf source
- Measure rates in He3 tube with differing amounts of poly (and different types) -> get to background levels
- Thermalize neutron flux from Cf with virgin poly for all measurements
- Build virgin poly box around Cf source
- Pretty quick and dirty measurement to figure out which poly is best
