NaI detector in place and working (used to measure the gamma flash).

Asymmetry was observed for [math]D_{2}O[/math]:

[math]Asymmetry (%) = \frac{\left (\frac{A^{n,D_{2}O}_{up}}{N^{ref,D_{2}O}_{r}} - \frac{A^{n,H_{2}O}_{up}}{N^{ref,H_{2}O}_{r}} \right ) - \left (\frac{A^{n,D_{2}O}_{side}}{N^{ref,D_{2}O}_{r}} - \frac{A^{n,H_{2}O}_{side}}{N^{ref,H_{2}O}_{r}} \right )}{\left (\frac{A^{n,D_{2}O}_{up}}{N^{ref,D_{2}O}_{r}} - \frac{A^{n,H_{2}O}_{up}}{N^{ref,H_{2}O}_{r}} \right ) + \left (\frac{A^{n,D_{2}O}_{side}}{N^{ref,D_{2}O}_{r}} - \frac{A^{n,H_{2}O}_{side}}{N^{ref,H_{2}O}_{r}} \right )} * 100 [/math]

[math]A^{n,D_{2}O}_{up}[/math] is the number of neutrons/sec seen by the detector when placed above the [math] D_{2}O [/math] target.

[math]A^{n,D_{2}O}_{side}[/math] is the number of neutrons/sec seen by the detector when placed to the side of the [math] D_{2}O [/math] target.

[math]A^{n,H_{2}O}_{up}[/math] is the number of neutrons/sec seen by the detector when placed above the [math] H_{2}O [/math] target.

[math]A^{n,H_{2}O}_{side}[/math] is the number of neutrons/sec seen by the detector when placed to the side of the [math] H_{2}O [/math] target.

[math]N^{ref,D_{2}O}_{r}[/math] is the number of neutrons/sec seen by the reference detector with the [math] D_{2}O [/math] target. (The reference detector is beside the place of the side detector.)

[math]N^{ref,H_{2}O}_{r}[/math] is the number of neutrons/sec seen by the reference detector with the [math] H_{2}O [/math] target. (The reference detector is beside the place of the side detector.)

Detector A Asymmetry: First run = -20.27%; Second run = -19.84%

Detector C Asymmetry: First run = -12.69%; Second run = -9.16%
