  • need to take colloquium every semester. It's unofficial requirements if sponsored by department or ICU.
  • usually:
    • 1st year (classes) -> Qual -> 2nd year -> proposal, but if
    • Qual (free short) -> 2 years -> proposal (possible)
  • if did: classes, qual, proposal -> can take non-thesis master.
