Source neutrons are generated with MCNP-POLIMI CF252 SF generator. The detector is 1.25 meters from the source and the shielding geometry is shown below. The X-axis in the histogram is a distance between 2 points, namely: p1) Linearly extrapolating the neutron's initial direction of travel to intersect with the plane of the detector, and p2) the "actual" location in which the neutron deposited >=0.25 MeV of energy into the scintillator.
