To show reproducibility, OSLs were placed in the center of the beam spot of the 25b accelerator at the IAC. The IAC engineers set up the centered laser for experimental use, and using a glass plate placed at 50cm, OSLs were exposed to a differing number of pulses under the same circumstances. In doing so, dose per pulse measurements are recorded (talk about pmt counts vs dose in data analysis). It was determined that it was best to keep. the OSLs in the middle of the operating range, which has a maximum listed at 1500 Rad. Due to the energy of the beam and the optics used therein, six pulses was the maximum that the OSL could handle while staying in the middle of the range.

-> pulse number vs dose graph (maybe extrapolate to higher number?)
