Paulo overlayed the cllimator design with a drawing of the rotator we sent him over a year ago.  There appears to be a 1 inch gap between the end of the collimator opening and the caster platform.  One could rotate the caster platform to increase the gap size.

JLAB Collimator design

I went to Paulo Dedeiros's office on the 5th floor of the ARC cubicle 43 (500-43). I got him to output the pdf file below which describes the back side of the first collimator in Qweak.

I can then compare the dimensions on this version with the version I recieved back in 12/3/06. Colimator 12-03-06.jpg
