Technicians

The stringing and testing of the R1 Drift chambers will require the hiring of 6 Technicians to string the Region 1 Drift Chambers. One technician, known as the "lead stringer", will be responsible for overseeing the remaining technicians, maintaining strict quality controls, updating progress reports, and working to solve problems which occur during the construction process. Four technicians will be hired at a cost of $20/hr which will be responsible for stringing the wires in the Drift chambers. The last technician will test wire tension, attach electronic boards, and provide support for the other technicians as needed..
