The railing on the upper floor was installed today. A particle count was run after completion and before stringing operations continued. The results were as follows: 0.5 micron = 11,500 / cubic meter 5.0 micron = 824 / cubic meter

Completed testing of all wires adjacent to wires that have been restrung. From now on, this task will be completed on the day that wires are restrung.

Replaced furnace filter.

5/16/12

Rotated Chamber 6 to Superlayer 1. Moved magnet cable to appropriate position. Leveled stringing arm. Aligned chamber for stringing Fields tomorrow.

Rotated Chamber 5 to Superlayer 1. Moved magnet cable to appropriate position. Leveled stringing arm. Will align chamber for stringing Guards tomorrow.

Wiped down dry shower plastic panels.

Strung 43 Field wires on Sector 6.

Fixed link attachment on Sector 5. It was not turning appropriately. Took apart the link, cleaned with wire brush and reattached. Turning smoothly now.

Interviewed 3 candidates for the open stringer positions.

Strung 7 Field wires on Sector 6.

Completed tension trend test on Sector 6. All wires tested within tolerance.

Tightened bolts on magnet winch on Sector 5.

Repaired weights for Sector 5.

Replaced all air filters.
