Analysis

Main points:

  1. TDC settings, comon start, common stop mode.
  2. TDC range.
  3. changing the TDC settings. and source of TDC hits. (logic fold and dual timer and the effect of the delay)
  4. The difference in time scale between the oold and the new TDC settings (scintillator time)
  5. write a program for direct analysis of neutron spectrum based on TDC and QDC, and TDC and Peak sensing ADC.
  6. The best best GEM operating voltage as the beam is ON.
  7. difference between the TDC histograms in the two ntuple root files.

The figure below shows the peak sensing ADC spectrum for shutter open (red) and shutter close (blue) as the beam is off.

ADC Charge calibration

Using Stanford pulse generator, a pulse is injected into the ADC with an appropriate amplitude to avoid the ADC saturation. pulse width is 36.4 +_ 0.4 us.
