Grading
Course grade will be assigned based on homework , a Midterm and a Final exam according to the table below.
Condition | Grade calculation |
All Homework complete | (70 %) Homework + (10 %) Midterm) + (20%) Final |
If 1 homework set incomplete or more than 48 hours late | (50 %) Homework + (20 %) Midterm) + (30%) Final |
Otherwise | (30 %) Homework + (30 %) Midterm) + (40%) Final |
Grading Scale : 90-100% = A, 80-89.9% = B, 70-79.9% = C, 60-69.9% = D, < 60% = F
Homework
Homework is due at the beginning of class on the assigned day. If you have a documented excuse for your absence, then you will have 24 hours to hand in the homework after being released by your doctor. Homework is not accepted after 48 hours from the beginning of class, not counting weekends but counting all weekdays (24 hours). For example, The homework for a Friday class ending at 1pm is not accepted after 4 am Wednesday.
