Old detector design
This is a technique for efficiency test of the neutron detector used in the 2n correlation experiment. The neutron source was Cf-252 and fission trigger was made out of the NaI(Tl) detector with calibrated ADC and known spectrum of Cf-252 neutrons and photons. Old design of the neutron detector (w/o PMT holders).
One more stage of the efficiency procedure measurements with improved BKG studying. Old design of the neutron detector (w/o PMT holders).
New detector design
Final procedure with the CFD threshold adjusted. Dr. Dale's design of the PMT holders.
Here is some CFD S/N calibration curve for Det_E.
