Cosmic rates measured each hour when the telecope accepts cosmics which intersect the earth's surface perpendicularly (defined as zero degrees). At this point in time though, the whole telescope was rotated 90 degrees. Now the angle distribution is perpendicular to that of what is has been. This has been done to get more of a 360 degree reading of the distribution.
