Course grade will be assigned based on homework, a midterm, and a final exam using the metric below..

Grading Scale : 90-100% = A, 80-89.9% = B, 70-79.9% = C, 60-69.9% = D, < 60% = F
Homework
Students will be asked to illustrate their understanding of the assigned homework problems by explaining their solutions in class. Eash student will be randomly assigned problems well in advance of being asked to explain their solutions in class.
