The beam appears to light up a 3 mm diameter circle on the Phosphorus screen.

The beam appears to light up a [math]8mm \times \frac{3.5 cm}{7.5cm} = 4 mm[/math] diameter circle on the Phosphorus screen with [math]20 \pm 10 \mu A[/math] of beam current.
