Collimator parameters: in upstream side of wall 1/2", in downstream side of wall 1(1/2)".

Whole exp setup.jpg

Figure 0: sketch of experimental setup.

Exp setup1 1.jpg

Figure 1: 8:21 am - 40mAmps pulse, 200 ns, 300 Hz, 103secs of beam, 6 fissions. 9:10 am - Threshold 80 mV, NT1=17.6counts/10min.

Exp setup2 2.jpg

Figure 2: ΔT=200ns, Ie=40mA, f=300Hz, Ee=20MeV, q=8.7nC/pulse. NT1=12counts/10min, NT2=35counts/10min. Geometrical dimensions for detector placement and chamber size are the same as in Figure 1.

Exp setup3 2.jpg

Figure 3: ΔT=200ns, Ie=40mA, f=300Hz, Ee=20MeV, q=8.7nC/pulse. NT2=46counts/10min, threshold = 80 mV, PB=33.9. Geometrical dimensions for detector placement and chamber size are the same as in Figure 1.

Exp setup4 2.jpg

Figure 4: ΔT=200ns, Ie=40mA, f=300Hz, Ee=20MeV, q=8.7nC/pulse. NT248counts/10min, NT1(thresh=30mV,beamon)=1065counts/10min, threshold = 80 mV, PB=33.9. Geometrical dimensions for detector placement and chamber size are the same as in Figure 1.

Exp setup5 2.jpg

Figure 4: This new architecture is used for obtaining timing spectra during runs 60 - 63 (http://www.iac.isu.edu/mediawiki/index.php/Timing_spectra), PB=3.97Torr, PC=4.5Torr.

Exp setup6 2.jpg

Figure 5: Beam produces nuclear fragments on C12 and Al and fission fragments on U235. P = 4.96 Torr (heptane), NT14.6/100sec (beam off), NT12.75/100sec (beam on!). Chambers are not stable due to vacuum leak. If nothing was changed this geometry was used to get all the energy spectra (http://www.iac.isu.edu/mediawiki/index.php/Energy_spectra_%28fiss_frag%29).
