Measurements were taken for the lengths between the sample holder and the face of the HpGe detector. The distance between the face of the HpGe detector and the beginning of the wooden strut is 2.58cm +/- 0.1cm. After that distance was determined I removed the wooden struts from the cart and made 4 separate measurements (2 for each individual strut) for each position. I wanted multiple measurements since it was not always clear where the center of the hole was. Below is a table of the measurements that were made
